The Greater Detroit Area’s Local Bathroom Remodeling Specialists
We’re your neighbors — a Romulus-based company that has made bathrooms our one and only focus, serving homeowners across the greater Detroit area.
What you’re looking atA bathroom built around you. This illustration shows the kind of spa-style bathroom 824 Home Services designs: a luxury acrylic shower, soaking tub and custom vanity.
Why We Only Do Bathrooms
824 Home Services started with a simple idea: homeowners in Romulus and the surrounding communities deserve a bathroom company that treats their home like a neighbor would. No pushy sales pitch. No vanishing installers. No vague quotes that grow halfway through the job.
The bathroom is the smallest room in the house and the one that works the hardest. It’s also where small problems — a leaking tub surround, a rotting subfloor, a fan that vents into the attic — quietly turn into big ones. We decided to specialize so we could get really, really good at fixing them properly.
Today we focus on three things: bathroom remodeling, luxury acrylic bathtubs and showers, and walk-in tubs. Everything we do — the way we measure, the way we quote, the way we protect your floors — is built around doing those three things right. You can see how it all comes together on our bathroom remodeling process page.
A local company, in every sense
When you call 824 Home Services, you’re reaching a Romulus-based company. We know the streets, the housing styles and the weather. We know a 1960s Westland ranch handles plumbing differently than a newer Canton build, and we plan every job accordingly.

Why Michigan Bathrooms Are Different
Freeze-thaw cycles, humid summers, hard water and closed-up winters are tough on a bathroom. After working in Wayne, Washtenaw and Monroe county homes, here is what we build around:
- Moisture control. Properly sized, properly vented exhaust fans and mold-resistant backing.
- Seamless surfaces. Grout-free luxury acrylic walls that don’t stain, crack or harbor mildew.
- Older plumbing. Updating tired valves and supply lines while the walls are open.
- Aging in place. Low-entry showers and walk-in tubs so families can stay in the homes they love.
